Pioneer Zwols Vega bred by Zwols Pigeons (6th Final UK Premier One Loft Race 2025) and Pioneer Jazz bred by Pioneer Pigeons (2nd Ace Pigeon, 11th Final UK Premier OLR 2025) paired together this coming year. Really excited to see what they produce. Zwols Vega is the best of John Gladwin & John Cowlins Zwols Pigeons and Pioneer Jazz is a Grand dtr of Maurice O’donnells Star Boy and McFaddens Snow Prince.
The final was a hard race with only 20 birds back on the day and I was so pleased with how well these two did.. It’s a new phase for Pioneer Pigeons in 2026, along side our excellent stock birds we are now pairing top OLR pigeons that have proven themselves together with siblings of theirs too.
This coming year we will have alteast two siblings of Pioneer Jazz, two from Jazz and Zwols Vega competing, plus, hopefully two YBs from full siblings of theirs paired together 🙂 My goals for Pioneer Pigeons is to breed a UK OLR winner and Ace pigeon and see our Pioneer Syndicates teams win too. Thats the first goal, then on to winning an international OLR.. 🙂 We still have two teams out in Thailand and Dubai from Pioneer Pigeons and Zwols Pigeons in Pioneer Syndicates too.
